There are no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs in the app.
The following is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone:
Deleting a template, using Clear data in Settings, or uninstalling the app removes this data permanently.
When you import a QR code, the app uses your device's system photo picker. The system gives the app only the single image you choose — the app has no access to your photo library as a whole, and no photo permission is requested.
When you export a backup, the app creates a .zazoo file and hands it to your device's share sheet. Where that file goes (a chat app, cloud drive, cable transfer) is entirely your choice; we never receive a copy.
The Pro unlock is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment card, billing address or full personal details. Google shares only the information needed to confirm the purchase (such as the product ID, purchase token and country), and that information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Purchase status is verified and cached on your device so that the Pro features keep working offline. "Restore purchase" uses the same mechanism, tied to your store account — not to any account of ours, because we don't have one.
The app connects to the internet only for Google Play billing and the Play Store's own services (purchase, restore, licence checks). All card, light and text features work fully offline.
Zazoo is not directed to children under 13. Because we collect no data at all, we do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or erase on our side. You remain in full control of the data on your device at all times.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
